Taking accurate body measurements for custom fit. Preparing fabric: marking, pinning, and cutting. Week 3: Seams and Finishing Sewing different seam types (e.g., French, flat-felled, and overlocked). Finishing techniques: hemming, binding, and topstitching. Week 4: Project 1 – Simple Garment Start creating a basic garment. Emphasize fit adjustments and finishing touches. Week 5: Zippers, Buttons, and Closures Installing zippers (invisible and standard). Creating buttonholes and attaching buttons. Exploring additional closures like hooks and snaps.
